Arrival
Upon arrival for your appointment, we have you remove your shoes and you can either walk barefoot or wear the freshly laundered slippers we supply. We will have you fill out paperwork , this will be the only work you will do during your time with us. We will serve you hot tea or water.
Once your paperwork is completed, we will take you to your room, if you are having a facial you will disrobe and put on a wrap; lay on the lounger and enjoy your session. If you are having a massage; you disrobe (if you prefer to leave your underwear on, that is fine with us) and lay under the sheets face down. The massage therapist will ask you if the pressure is to your satisfaction, please tell them yes or no. They are here to make sure you enjoy your treatment. We use heating pads on the lounge chairs, please inform them if you are too hot. If you are having multiple treatments, we supply the robes for you to wear.
Modesty Concerns
You will not be unclothed in front of staff. Towels and robes are provided to keep you continually covered. Our therapists are well trained in the "art of draping" which means that they leave the treatment room while you get undressed and under the sheet on the massage table, and they keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are massaging. They also leave the treatment room before you get up from the table. If it would make you feel more comfortable, you can wear your underwear or a swimsuit during your treatment.
